Crossing the Border: International Journal of Interdisciplinary Studies is a peer-reviewed, open access international journal and appears twice a year in print and online. The journal publishes original research papers on all aspects of humanities and social sciences in interdisciplinary nature. We aim to bring important works using any interdisciplinary approach to a wide international audience, publishing only those papers which have strong and interdisciplinary messages that advance our understanding of the world.

Authors (both Nepali and international) are invited to submit their articles for the forthcoming edition (Volume 6, Number 1, 15 January 2018) of the journal. The main purpose of the journal is to be as broad and inclusive as disciplines that critically reflect upon and explore interdisciplinary links. The journal offers a forum for the discussion of all topics relevant to interdisciplinary studies for tertiary teachers, practitioners and researchers within and outside Nepal. However, the focus will be placed on topics which extend existing knowledge in new directions.

All submissions should be based on research and theory, especially in teaching, theoretical or technical knowledge, applied and vocational interdisciplinary practice. We accept submissions year-round, but the following deadlines apply for the forthcoming publication:

Submission Deadline: 15 November 2017
Acceptance Notification: 15 December 2017
Publication Date: 15 January 2018
